Dear Children,

Welcome to this first virtual language resource centre exclusively designed for very young learners who are learning English as a second language. This centre has been thought as a very positive, engaging, fun and thoughtful tool that complements the face-to-face sessions that pre-kinder children take at Newman School in Cajicá, Colombia.

The content in this new learning environment has been thought to be closely related with the topics presented in class and with students’ language level and needs. This virtual language resource center will provide learners with varied activities and resources like listening exercises, games, videos, stories and songs in order for them to consolidate the vocabulary seen in class.

ABOUT ME

This web page was designed by Angela María Bernal Suancha. I studied Modern Languages at Javeriana University and I have worked at Newman school by 2 years as a Self contained teacher in Pre-kinder. I also have a Master  degree in "English Language Teaching" from  Sabana University, and currently I am doing my second master in educational  Neuropsicology at UNIR. I enjoy  and like working with children! 

Designing this web page  has been an unforgettable experience.
